Pendleton Ward

Early Life:

Pendleton Ward became interested in animation at an early age because he’s mother was an artist an she also worked with animations. Pendleton went to CalArts and became friends with a man called James Garland Quintel he is an animator, screen writer and voice actor.

Career :

Quintel and Pendleton did make The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack together. After working together with Flapjack they splitted up their ways. In 2009 Quintel went on to create Regular show.Pendleton entered Frederator Studios after the old Vice President, Eric Homan, saw he’s animation skills when was in the ''Producers Show'' at CalArts  ( California Institute of the Arts).Pen worked on short animations for Frederator's Random! Cartoons, which get shown on Nickelodeon. In Frederatir Studios he worked with several people who later would join him on the Adventure Time series, including Casey James Basichis, Adam Muto and Niki Yang. Pendleton’s two short videos were The Bravest Warriors and the Adventure Time. The Adventure Time short video was made in 2006 and went on to become an internet phenomenon in 2007, with over 1,000,000 views by November of that year. Pen made Adventure Time a full series in 2007, but 3 years past before Cartoon Network decided to pick it up as a show.
